The Tale of Despereaux meets Hollow Knight meets Ratatouille. Andouille & The Rat King (working title) is a personal project, a 2D sidescrolling metroidvania, combining action-packed battles with satisfying puzzles and challenging platforming.

Andouille, the daughter of the Royal Chef, was never one for adventure. She always preferred a quiet life of stirring a simmering pot of stew, picking the perfect pepper, or sniffing a freshly baked loaf of bread. When the Rat King and his army usurp the Onion King and Queen and jail their loyal court, Andouille decides to don her father’s hat.

This rather timid little mouse must venture through the vegetable kingdom to recover the pages to her father’s cookbook, learn his perfected recipes, unite the veggies, and restore the wilting Onion King & Queen to their throne.
